Since I've started this blog, I've never not written for as long of a time as this time. It's been over a month since I last wrote. I've been dying to blog. I am definately the kind of person who needs to write and get feelings out and, yet, I have been unable to do it. We have had such a terrible problem with the electricity that there has been no way, no how to even think about turning on the computer.
Having no way to communicate (because half the time we haven't been able to charge our phones), I've started to feel kinship with pioneer folks. Really at one time I almost blew my fuse and started to think, what the @#&* are we doing here. The weather is so humid, Chetan is covered with heat rash and the whole world (read family, friends, strangers)is moving ahead and we're stuck in the Stone Ages for goodness sake.
Once I got over my anger and started to see what God had to say about my horrible situation, I was humbled that He took my mind straight to the Apostle Paul. "I have learnt to be content in all situations." "For me to live is Christ, to die is Gain." "I am in Chains for the Gospel- Remember my Chains." "What shall seperate us from the Love of Christ- Trials? Tribulations?" If my study of the New Testament serves me correctly, Paul went through horrors of all kinds, staying in Dungeons, in Chains and then finally dying for Him.
The point of talking about Paul is that unlike him I have NOT learnt to be content in all situations, I surely cannot say, 'For me to live is Christ' darn it. But I think that this tough summer is surely being used by God to teach Samir and I to go through hardship and still be able to look up at God and just trust Him. The Summer is surely being used to teach us that God knows best and that He will not let us go through more than we can handle.
