A Super Amazing Child

Tomorrow my little baby boy turns Two. I won't have time to write tomorrow so I need to write this today. What an incredible child I have been blessed with. Thank you God for this amazing Gift! Chetan at two is so much fun, I can hardly stand it. Here are some Chetan Quirks at Two:

1. His favourite sentence is: "What is This?" He says it so cutely- I can hardly stand it. If you're lucky, he'll ask you "what is this?" about five times about the same object over and over. If you're unlucky, he'll ask you about 20 times or until you're ready to blow up. He keeps asking over and over, I think, out of curiosity, out of just wanting to get attention and also because he just doesn't know what to do with the information I have given him. For example, if I say this is a generator- he just doesn't understand what that is.

2. His next favourite sentence is: "Where did it go?" So Cute.

3. He's already making his own decisions. He never wants to wear what I pick out for him. He'll say, "No, this one," or "other one." I thought only girls were picky.

4. His favourite request is: "Mama, fic (Fix) it." Next one, "Mama, clean it." This usually had to do with right when he's done potty. He can't stand being dirty for a minute. So like his father!

5. Favourite foods: Cheese, Bitter Gourd, Salt, Bananas, Namkeen, Chips (Notice, he doesn't like any unnatural sweet stuff).

6. He's very social with anyone who comes to our house. He won't leave them alone. He loves adults but doesn't want much to do with kids.

7. He loves to sing or hum a tune. I'm not kidding. Whenever he's absorbed in doing something, he'll be singing whatever's in his mind. The last time I heard him, he want singing "4567 Papa coming evening". Yes he knows most numbers till 10.

8. What he looks forward to the most is Papa coming home in the evening.

9. HE can recognize all his grandparents, Mamu and Sewa and Gordon through pictures now. He says Gordon with a perfect American accent.

10. His favourite thing of all time is a CAR. He loves cars. He loves pictures of cars, he likes riding in them, he loves pretending to drive them, he loves his clothes to have cars on them.

This year, apart from Chetan being in the hospital at the beginning of his second year, he has not gotten sick. Nor has he ever got seriously hurt. He has also progressed a lot in his speech and I am so thankful to God for all his blessings and his grace.
