Blog Purpose

I started this blog as a way of helping me travel on a travel path. If you take a look at most of the entries, you'll see a purposeful positive attitude in them. I'm working on being positive because being positive doesn't come naturally to me. Being able to write as helped me tons.

The Mukha household has been going through a little roller coaster lately. Most of it is related to Samir's job related stress. Coping with stress is not easy. Samir and I can't go and take one of those 10 day breaks at one of those Buddhist Centre's where you focus on silence and on combatting whatever's bothering you. These days I've wished that either Samir and I could take a break from each other because two stressed people just make a real messy home environment. Added to this, Chetan has been extra fussy, extra cranky lately- to the point where we're really frustrated with him.

God always manages to come through for us though. He's really a Rock for us in hard times because yesterday- Chetan slept close to three hours for his afternoon nap. At this same time I called Samir to come home from work to rest and enjoy the silence in the house. He came and was able to sleep for about two hours and we were able to talk about what is stressing him out and why. We also decided to take some steps to combat the stress and work on ways on how we can release our frustration.

Here's some steps we came up with:
- Samir needs to exercise. He was a great runner and biker before so we'll be working on getting him to bike every other day starting with 15 minutes in the morning.

- He needs to regulate his diet. Eat ALL his meals at the same time without all the junk.

- While he's biking, he can take that time as a perfect opportunity to talk to God.

- Drink milk everyday.

- Take the time to read a Psalm- an uplifting one!
