Between the last post and THIS post, I feel like I've lived an entire year. It's almost ridiculous my life at the moment. I've been trying to keep things in perspective but this has not been easy for the following reasons:
1. We're being tormented by the heat and the lack of electricity. The more the heat, the more the power fails. The heat is a nightmare. It's like it has fangs and it comes inside you and drags out your strength. It's very draining. It's very crippling. Lord- please have mercy! Well, He is having mercy. Today the power has not failed and our inverter is fully charged for the first time in weeks.
2. Because it's been so hot, I have found it impossible to study. By Today I was to be done with One whole subject- 15 chapters and I have only managed to finish 3 chapters. Talk about discouragement. I was aiming to write 6 exams in December but since the heat will continue till October, I am now aiming to write four. The Lord will give me strength and allow me to do what I can according to what He sees best for me.
3. It's almost hilarious but after I wrote my last post about Chetan being Potty Trained- he has completely stopped using the bathroom. He no longer tells me when he wants to go and is peeing even when he's wearing shorts and even when he's on his bed- something he never did before. I basically have to train him all over again. It's so hilarious- I think I'm going to cry.
Well, all this writing is just stating facts. I'm not giving into negativity or pessimism. The Lord has given me much to look up to:
1. I leave for Bangalore in less than a month. Blessed Relief!
2. We have 2 engagement parties and 1 wedding to attend to in the next few weeks. I love to attend weddings. I love dressing up and socializing.
3. Today is Sewa and Gordon's Anniversary. The next post will feature a poem for them. Right now I'm doing more immportant things- Sews just called.

arpi, you are strong dear. I will pray that the Lord will keep your electricity on and you will be able to bear the heat and cheatan too. I saw the pics that Dad sent with his newsletter you guys so so great. I love you so much.
Well life is filled with ups and downs and we all need to adapt to it with a great sense of perseverance. When you talk about heat, I know what it is like. So be assured that we are with you and praying for you. With regard to Chetan, keep trying till he learns. We are looking forward to your coming.
