Valentine's Day was this week and well- Samir doesn't believe in it. He thinks it's just a bunch of fluff to make people spend money. This was a bummer for me because I'm all into the Fluff of V-day. I never really had a Valentine worth counting before Samir. But it doesn't matter cuz he's the best Valentine I could've ever had. Here's why:
1. He has a great heart for the poor.
2. He does not hold money very dear to him. He's willing to give it to the first person in need.
3. He does not take his accomplishments, qualifications or roots seriously. This is almost unheard of in a country like India and something that I think is an incredible thing about him.
4. He's not into looks- his or mine.
5. I can totally trust him.
6. He can make friends with anybody very easily.
7. He loves going out.
8. He likes to visit new places- to travel.
9. He likes to try new cusine.
10. He is an incredible father- loving, tender, patient. He takes time for Chetan- to play with him, to read to him, to talk to him and even to pray with him.
11. He's very good at fixing anything in the house.
12. He's very neat and clean.
13. He's very hospitable.
14. He brings me yummy goodies that he knows I like from time to time.
15. He likes to watch good movies and to discuss them afterwards.
16. He's committed to going to church, to praying and reading the Bible as a family.

arps, this is soo sweet..it's so nice that you are able to see Samir for all the wonderful qualities that he has and really appreciate him. You guys are sweet. I love you, he is very blessed to have a woman like you.
