This weekend was tough for all 3 of us. Che was down with severe loose motions (seven a day)and it was just horrid to see him so worn out. The weekend was even tougher than the week but things have calmed down a bit, still, I feel I should write down how our week has been so far. Here's an example of the last 24 hours:
11:00pm: Che finally goes to sleep.
01:30am: Che awakes and insists that I get out of bed and walk him. Then he inists that I walk him while he lies in my arms (a lot harder to carry)instead of my shoulders. After 5-10 min my arms are aching so I decide to get back into bed since the mosquitoes were feasting on us. As soon as I sit in bed, Che starts crying so loudly- you would've thought he's getting beaten. Samir offers to help but Che wants nothing to do with Samir. I, however, am not able to carry him and walk by this point. So we decide to let him cry to sleep.
02:30am: Che's still crying, almost choking.
02:35am: I finally decide to get out of bed and walk him just incase he DOES choke.
Finally falls asleep.
02:45am: Samir walks in after having gone to the bathroom to announce his stomach isn't well. I ask if he wants tea, he declines and we somehow fall asleep.
06:00am: the cow downstairs is mooing loudly for her cud which the landlords have left outside the gate and wont let back in.
07:00am: Che wakes up.
08:00am-12:00pm: Che insists I hold him the entire time as I do my chores. Whenever I put him down he's totally cranky or crying.
12:00-3:00pm: Che finally goes to sleep. I finish all housework and rest my back.
3:00pm: Che gets up, has lunch, we go downstairs to play.
6:00pm: Samir comes home.
10:00pm: Che goes to sleep. Samir and I frantically try to do all our chores and get ready for the next day.
11:00pm: Samir and I go to sleep.
