Sunshine

I don't see how it is that God answered my prayer about having warmer weather, especially since it's essential for crops like wheat to have freezing weather, but He did it. For the past week, we have been Blessed with glorious sunshine. Days more beautiful than any autumn day I remember. The warmth of the sun has infiltrated through our very bones, making all of us living here more positive, thankful people. God be blessed!

This week was a tough week for me because I weaned Chetan from Breastfeeding. He wasn't eating or sleeping well and I knew it was time to do it. It's really hard on a woman emotionally to wean a child. It was hard on Chetan too. It's hard growing up. But praise be to God for his help. Chetan is drinking bottle milk real well, is eating better and is sleeping better though there's a long ways to go in the last two areas.

I realized when Dad got sick just recently how bad I feel when something remotely goes wrong with my parents. I couldn't stop praying for him and I know more and more that I need to pray to God to keep them healthy and make me strong to handle the illnesses that come their way.

BTW: You can pray that soon Chetan will sleep through the night and that I could get him trained to sleep on his own. Pray also that He'll learn to speak soon as he's already a bit behind on this. Oh! but FYI: he has started to say Mummy but he says Ami instead. It's the sweetest most adorable thing to hear.
