Well, I can hardly believe it but the 3 weeks that Samir was gone to Lucknow for have actually passed. And the best part is that though some days were difficult, on the whole, I was able to manage very well. Chetan cooperated during that time and was in bed by 9 almost every night and then he was a sweetie during the day. I think he must have sensed that Mama needed him to be cooperative. I really thank God for the protection he gave us while we were alone. I think that's the number one thing I take for granted when Samir IS here. I don't ever think about us being unsafe when he's around. It's so great to have a man around but as Samir tells me, "safety really lies in the hands of the Lord." I can't argue with that.
Another thing that has happened is that Gordo is no longer working. Though this is bad in some ways, overall it is an answer to prayer, albeit, not the way I expected it. Sews is no longer alone at night and I think we're just all at peace.
On the housecleaning front, I actually followed my own instructions as listed on Nov 10 and was able to accomplish quite a bit of work. Wuhoo! Though the house needs constant care, it is overall in order and it is clean and organized atleat 80%. I have just this week to work on some projects in this department in order to meet my cleaning goal. Then December starts and I'm so psyched about it. I'm gonna decorate, make Christmas goodies and be joyful in the fact that I have such a great, amazing, Living God who gave Jesus for me in the Flesh. I'm really too priveleged.
I'm just asking the Lord to let my ticket be confirmed from wait list so we can travel by AC. I also am asking him for a Great job for Gordo, for money for Mom and Dad for their house in Akola, for Sowmya and Bunty's safe pregnancy.
Some other prayer points: that Chetan will eat and sleep well, that I would eat and sleep well, that God would give wisdom as Samir does his job, that Mom's thesis work will soon be done and that she will get her PhD and most especially for Abhi's Eco exam and GRE exams which are coming up.
That should cover it.
