Where is the Love?

India's falling apart lately- so it seems to me. Bombs are going off right and left and everyday there's news about Christians/Churches bring attacked. So much brutal violence- it's hard to make sense of it all. What's wrong with the people today? Why so much hate?
The world's pointing fingers at India. Look how pagan THAT country is, they're saying. This is what happens when you have a mess of uneducated folks. This is what happens when people are roused by a mob mentality of killing for the sake of Religion.
I want to appeal to God in all this but it seems ironic since it's under his name that all this violence is taking place. I thought Religion was suppose to spread peace, not hate. Christ came to preach the Gospel of loving your enemy, of doing good to those who persecute you, of loving your neighbor. It seems these days that a follower of Christ is getting chopped up just cuz He's a follower- he hasn't done anything wrong- he's simply just living out his faith.
We in India are letting religion, politics, caste, class tear us apart. We're literally killing each other over it. It seems that if we just learn to love the other person, understand them, we'd be on better ground.
